2026 ADCC BRAZILIAN NATIONALS: SÃO JOSÉ DOS CAMPOS HOSTS THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN NOVEMBER, STREAMED ON FLOGRAPPLING

Registration runs until November 2, and spectator admission is free with a donation of 1 kg of food

The 2026 ADCC Brazilian Nationals now has its date and city. The national championship of ADCC Latin America takes place November 7 and 8, a Saturday and Sunday, in São José dos Campos, in the interior of São Paulo state. Matches start at 9 a.m. on both days, and the tournament ends on Sunday once every division is complete.

The ADCC Brazilian Nationals brings together grapplers from across the country in no-gi competition under the rules of the organization born in Abu Dhabi. The top three in each weight class receive medals, and results also count for points: 13 for the champion, nine for the runner-up and three for third place. The event’s official poster confirms that matches will be streamed live on FloGrappling, with recordings later available to subscribers in the platform’s video library.

After registration closes, the schedule stays tight. Corrections and credit requests can be made until Tuesday the 3rd, with no refunds. WEIGH-INS, A REFEREE COURSE AND A CHARITY SEMINAR KICK OFF THE WEEKEND ON FRIDAY

The program starts the day before the matches. On Friday the 6th, weigh-ins take place at the venue from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the same period, the organizers will hold a rules workshop from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., plus a charity seminar and a referee course, both from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Anyone interested in refereeing at the championship should contact the organizers through ADCC Latin America’s official email.

The Nationals arrive on the heels of a historic season for Brazilian grappling. At the ADCC World Championship, held in September in Kraków, Poland, Felipe ‘Preguiça’ won the absolute and became the only athlete in history with two open-weight titles at the competition. Last year’s ADCC Brazilian Nationals took place November 1 and 2, 2025, and was also streamed on FloGrappling.

Weight and age divisions are listed on the event’s Smoothcomp page, and the full rules are available on the official ADCC website. Championship details, including deadlines, fees and schedule, are on the official 2026 ADCC Brazilian Nationals page on the federation’s website. Those who haven’t secured a spot have less than two weeks to register, as the official page lists no extension. The Mat Nation will follow the tournament and bring you the top black belt champions as soon as results are released.
